The current Local Transport Plan (LTP3) ends in 2026 and the Council is in the process of drafting the fourth edition, which will be known as Local Transport Plan 4 (LTP4), covering the period to 2039.

They want to know what residents think about local transport issues and are holding an online consultation exercise from Thursday 28 November 2024 to Friday 24 January 2025. They will also provide webinars for residents to find out more about LTP4, and ask questions.

The routing of HGV vehicles forms part of the Plan and Table 1.3 outlines some key objectives including the aims to:
- Reduce HGV movements on inappropriate routes
- Minimise the impact of HGV movements on local communities and the environment
- Enhance road safety
The consultation will provide an opportunity to comment on the freight route through Lockeridge and other local transport issues.
