Welcome To Kennet Valley Parish Council
The villages of Fyfield, Lockeridge and West Overton are approximately 3 miles west of Marlborough within the North Wessex Downs AONB and adjacent to Avebury World Heritage Site. This small rural Parish has scenic views and beautiful walks including the National Trust site at Lockeridge Dene with its sarsen stones, West Woods with its spectacular springtime bluebells and the Ridgeway National Trail.
It is home to the churches St Nicholas in Fyfield and St Michael and All Angels in West Overton. There are two public houses; the Bell at West Overton and the ‘Who’ d a Thought it’ in Lockeridge, the Kennet Valley Church of England primary school and the Kennet Valley Hall.
